Fast or sustainable or both – regional development - a case of Gdansk/Pomorskie Region

Abstract

Many regions and countries build their economy only on fast development and increasing scale of investments. For some regions like Pomorskie Region and Gdansk Metropolitan Area it is important to do it in a sustainable way. Considerable inflow of EU and other foreign funds make national, regional and local decision makers able to fulfill their ambitious development plans and innovative investors to grasp opportunities of their life-time. Resulting improvement of quality of life in the areas makes the Baltic Sea Region still more attractive and competitive places. Do you want to be a part of this exciting process?
