The market demand for sustainable innovations is stronger than ever. Many brilliant new sustainable solutions have the potential to become the foundation of extremely successful business ventures. And yet, innovators still struggle to find funding, investors and customers. That is why we have created the Facilitator Program and the Sustainable Innovators 100 list.

We will use Globe Forum 2009 as an arena for innovators to meet investors and potential customers from different countries and regions. We make it easier for innovators to bring sustainable innovations to the market.

Facilitator Program

The Facilitator Program is a two-year partnership with Globe Forum where we will make it possible to bring innovations faster to the market by active facilitation of business and investor contacts. Globe Forum offers international exposure to business partners, investors, top representatives for cities/regions and media.

The first step to access this program is by applying to our nominee list called Sustainable Innovators 100. Only selected Sustainable Innovators 100 companies will be offered to enter our Facilitator program.

Sustainable Innovators 100 and application process

The Sustainable Innovators 100 is formed by innovation companies which we currently find to offer the most exciting sustainable innovations and to be most likely to succeed.

In February we will select the 100 companies. To increase the chance of being invited, the first step is to fill in the application form before January 5th 2009. A committee will go through the applications and will select the top innovators that will be invited to participate in Globe Forum 2009. The application process has started and the applications are being reviewed on an ongoing basis.

The selected companies will be offered the following benefit package at a cost of 4,000 SEK per company:

• Promotion through the Globe Forum Online Community and through printed promotional materials which will be received by approximately 1200 conference participants
• Two free seats at Globe Forum 2009 conferences in Stockholm or Gdansk
• One free seat at the Globe Award Gala Dinner in Stockholm or Gdansk
• Invitations also to other Globe Forum events
• The Sustainable Innovators 100 list will be presented to the Globe Award jury as part of the input required for their decision making process relating to electing the Best CSR Entrepreneur
• Selected innovation companies will be offered to enter the Globe Forum Facilitator Program

Screening criteria:

• Business idea based on sustainability and innovative technology
• Verified market demand in terms of customer need
• Good profitability potential
