A Trillion Dollar Business Opportunity

The world has spoken; an increasing temperature will have a dangerous and unacceptable impact on the climate and on our lives. With the current temperature increase the world is already confronted with serious challenges, and it is likely that we will have even greater challenges as the temperature continues to rise.

The safe temperature limit is difficult to define but the world community has settled for the goal to limit the temperature increase to two degrees.

To achieve that goal the worlds global additional investments needs to reach $430 billion (0.5% of GDP) in 2020 and $1.2 trillion (1.1% of GDP) in 2030, according to the Internal Energy Agency Executive Summary 2009, World Energy Outlook.

While the world is waiting for the political response, we at Globe Forum will actually act and respond faster and more profitably to the opportunities and challenges of climate change.
