Globe Award 2008 - Winners

The first award to be handed out was for Best CSR Research. The winner was Sustainable Investment Research Platform, SIRP, at Umeå School of Business “for an outstanding and tangible research in the field of CSR”.

The Globe Award 2008 for Best CSR Entrepreneur went to Rehact AB “for changing and improving the energy efficiency within the building and construction sector, by a combined innovation technology that works simultaneously with heating, cooling and optimizing ventilation, while also reusing all possible heat that is already present in the system”.

An honorary diploma was given to Umbilical Design AB “for being a company that in an extremely interesting way and concept is transferring space design technologies into commercial consumer and industrial products”.

Finally, the Globe Award 2008 for Best Integration of CSR in Business Operations was handed out to Electrolux “for best integration and transparency of CSR in business operation and reporting”.
