Biography
Xuemin Shao is Chief Representative for China and East Asia of the Nordic Investment Bank, NIB. Mr. Shao has a great experience in international public policy, project development and financing, as well as national-level investment management. Prior to the NIB appointment, Mr. Shao served as the Representative of the UN Environment Programme to China, and the Chair of Environment and Energy amongst the heads of UN agencies in the UN Country Team, coordinating a joint effort in assisting the country’s sustainable development and environment protection.
