Biography
Dr. Ivo Martinac, Associate Professor, is Head of the Division of Sustainable Building Systems, Department of Energy Technology, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. His principal research interests are in resource use efficiency and management in the built environment, with a focus on energy-efficiency and low-impact building design. He holds Visiting Professor appointments at the School of Architecture, South-East University, Nanjing, PR China, and the School of Art & Design, Shandong University, Jinan, PR China. He has specific interest and expertise in the area of resource-efficient tourism facility (hotels/resorts) management, and recently served as Director of the Environmental Sustainability in Tourism Program at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu.
