Biography
Was born on June 6, 1965, in the village of Tserkivna, Dolyn district, Ivano-Frankovsk region
Has graduated from:
- Ternopol State Pedagogical Institute
- Graduate school (RVPS of Ukraine (NAS of Ukraine) with a specialization in environmental economics.
- Doctorate (NAS of Ukraine) with a specialization in regional economy, development of productive forces.
- Doctor of Science, Economics (1997), professor (2003), corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine (2004).
Head of the Council on research of productive forces of the NAS of Ukraine. The author of more than 150 of scientific papers. Laureate of state prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology. Appointed at the post of the Minister of Economic Affairs of Ukraine by Decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 10-VI, dated December 18, 2007.
